It’s Showtime o Eat Bulaga? Natumbok Mo Na!

Due to the success of the AlDub phenomenon, the competition and tension between the fans of the two leading noontime program in the Philippines rises. Eat Bulaga! now holds the record for highest rating for 2015 with 36.1% for their August 12 #AlDubMaybeThisTime episode – the AlDub tandem’s near-meeting. It’s Showtime recently launched a new segment called C.O.C. which stands for Clash of Celebrities. The title of the segment was “obviously” inspired by the Mobile Game, Clash of Clans. It features different celebrity guest stars competing with one another through different forms of showdown, with the most recent being “LipSwak”, a battle between two duos of celebrities while lip syncing.

It’s Showtime (formerly known as Showtime) is a Philippine noontime musical variety show broadcast on ABS-CBN.

Hosted by  the Top billed artists in the Philippines namely Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, Billy Crawford, to name a few.

The Ultimate Kalokalike Showdown held last June 2, 2013, garnered a whooping 26.8% national rating leaving Eat Bulaga and Wowowillie with 13.2% and 2.8% national ratings respectively. Due to its success, Kalokalike Face 2 was introduced. The Ultimate Showdown, held on September 28, 2013, posted a 21.6% national TV rating beating Eat Bulaga (15.8%) and Wowowillie (2.6%)

is the title holder for the longest running noon-time variety show in the Philippines (36 Years) produced by Television And Production Exponents Inc. (TAPE) and aired by GMA Network.

The new loveteam, popularly known as AlDub, tripled the show’s normal AGB Nielsen Mega Manila and nationwide television ratings, and #AlDub became the top daily trending topic on Twitter in the Philippines and even worldwide.

September 7, 2015 – Lloyd Cafe Cadena roam around the Metro to interview citizens, On The Spot (The Natumbok Mo way) on who they love the most, It’s Showtime or Eat Bulaga? The video went viral and was featured in various entertainment websites. As of writing, the video already got a total of  369,726 views, 4,506 likes and 1,042 comments.
